Common Questions About Picky Eating
How picky is “picky enough” to need help?
If meals feel stressful, if your child eats only a handful of foods, or if you’re frequently worried about nutrition or growth, that’s enough. You don’t need to wait for things to get worse to seek support.
Will you tell me to stop offering their favorite foods?
No. We build on what your child already eats. Preferred foods play an important role in helping children feel safe while we work toward expanding variety.

How long until I see progress?
This depends on your child. Some families see changes in just a few weeks, while others notice gradual improvements over time.
Can this help with anxiety or sensory issues around food?
Yes. While I don’t diagnose, I regularly support children with texture sensitivities, strong preferences, and big emotions around food using gentle, evidence-based strategies.
